II. Despite all of the chaos cats can cause in our lives, they are still valuable and intelligent creatures. Falling off a table is just another part of their plan for world domination.

Cats enjoyed being able to rear their kittens in the safety of the home, their diet changed as they were provided with food from the humans, and breeding programs heightened certain characteristics in the formerly wild animals.
d) The ancient Egyptians were even capable of hunting with their cats, which now is a seemingly amazing feat of cooperation with an animal renowned for its stubborn individualism.
e) Most importantly, however, they loved and respected their cats for being play, affectionate, and intelligent companions. If there were never cats for the ancient Egyptians to domesticate, civilization as we now it now might not exist!

Okay, I’ll admit it – cats are sort of better than dogs. I mean, apparently they did save our entire civilization. Although, that can kind of be hard to believe when they get their heads stuck in a vase or when they’re sneezing catnip.

In conclusion, it’s completely understandable if you prefer dogs instead of cats.
