Storyboards
A storyboard is a way of visually telling a story through the use of pictures in a panel like view. Story boards are usually created once a concept or script is written. A storyboard can also be used to plan and decide for the use of films and animations to decide what is going to be in each frame. This shows the theme of narrative through the use of connection of the frames. Story board can also be used in photography as a way to show a narrative or a story through the link in photographs.
Examples
These two examples show convey narratives in a different approach the one on the left is shown through photography. The one on the right is slightly different as it shown through sketches showing what is going to happen in each frame.
Cinematography

This shows a type of narrative through the use of imagery as an image reveals a majority of information about the product or service which shows narrative. This can tell you what the type of product or service it is what it is about and colours, looks, setting etc which can all be revealed by a simple image.
Photojournalism is a type of photography that is used for presenting news materials with the intent of publication or broadcast. This genre is associated with documentary. Photojournalism conveys a narrative or a story through the use of imagery, usually supported by text. This image is used to tell a story of what's going on and where it happening.
Documentary is slightly different it not used for broadcast but this is usually photographs of peoipel in public places. this conveys a narrative through the use of random occurences which leads to viewer building up a narrivtive fro what going on in the image for example showing people out shopping, what they are wearing, what there personbalities could be.
