I. There are many diseases that currently do not have cures, for example cancer, or my disease which is Neurosarcoidosis! There are some treatments that can help the disease but those treatments do not cure the patient. There are many other diseases that do not have cures as well. Why is that you ask? Well because scientists do not have enough real examples of the disease or enough examples of healthy people that could potentially help find the cure to all the different types of diseases!

According to cancer.org last accessed November 15th “they estimate that there will be 1.7 million people diagnosed with cancer and 590,000 people in the US alone will die from cancer this year,” (Cancer Facts & Figures 2015). People that is just cancer alone then when we throw in all the diseases that do not have cures then that number just sky rockets up!
IV. I am credible on this source because I had family members with cancer and I am a living example of having a disease that has yet to have a cure, I have also done some extensive research on the topic.
