Informative Speech On Cancer

INTRODUCTION
I. There are many diseases that currently do not have cures, for example cancer, or my disease which is Neurosarcoidosis! There are some treatments that can help the disease but those treatments do not cure the patient. There are many other diseases that do not have cures as well. Why is that you ask? Well because scientists do not have enough real examples of the disease or enough examples of healthy people that could potentially help find the cure to all the different types of diseases!
II. These uncured diseases are a serious matter! Many people are dying every day because their disease does not have a cure! The reason there is not a cure for it is because people do not donate their body to science. People do not know enough
According to cancer.org last accessed November 15th “they estimate that there will be 1.7 million people diagnosed with cancer and 590,000 people in the US alone will die from cancer this year,” (Cancer Facts & Figures 2015). People that is just cancer alone then when we throw in all the diseases that do not have cures then that number just sky rockets up!
IV. I am credible on this source because I had family members with cancer and I am a living example of having a disease that has yet to have a cure, I have also done some extensive research on the topic.
V. So today I am going to tell you what the problems have arouse with people not donating their body to science, what the solution to this problem is, and I will also be telling you some benefits that come with donating your body to

B. The answer to this problem is truly simple just make the call and set up an appointment!
1. I am not asking you to donate your money or your time I am simply asking you to donate your body after you die. It is truly a simple process, and what is the point of getting buried or cremated when there is actually a good use for your body!
It is a truly simple process and it is also beneficial to many people like your family, other families with those uncured diseases, as it is beneficial to scientists and med students.
III. There is an endless amount of benefits that come with donating your body to science.
