Hello class! Now, I know that everyone is really excited for summer since it's practically here, but I want this last class of 8th grade Art to leave an impression on you. This year has left a huge one on me that's for sure. How could an adventurous year combining art and teaching not? So today I ask you to reflect on this marvelous year, and put every aspect of your curriculum into an abstract art piece worthy of the MOMA! I have spoken with all of your teachers so that I now have an adequate understanding of the topics that you touched on in your core classes. In doing this, I can guide and assist you through the process of creating an accurate painting, with meaning. Remember, art is passion and freedom.

History. Native American Artwork, is something we may look at in a completely different way. You learned at the beginning of the year that history can lie, but through it, we can see the evolution of paints and designs from then to now.
Furthermore, early in history there were many things that could be misinterpreted as objects with different uses. A 200 year-old artifact that we may believe has a very meaningful purpose could be a simple piece of art.

Primary colors are the colors which all others are derived from. The third one is yellow. On the flag 13 alternating red and white stripes represent the 13 original colonies and the 13 white stars that stand for the states during the time after the Revolutionary War. This flag is a creation, and a work of art that is still known today, with the magnificent transformation of, now, 50 states. Add some patriotic red, white, and blue to your
