Specific Purpose: To inform the audience about the dropping of the atomic bomb
Thesis Statement: The creation of the Manhattan Project, the dropping of the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and the aftermath are events that changed the world forever.

I. Attention Getter: Boom! Can you imagine a white light that blinds you instantly and a sonic boom that bust’s your eardrums? Probably not because if you can you probably have experienced an atomic bomb.
II. Topic: Having relatives that where in World War 2 and going over to Europe to visit World War 2 sites made myself want to learn more about this topic.
