Why are they so similar, yet, so different: Internet and books.
Without information, life is blind. But without questions being answered, life is like living in a potato. Internet is defined as a worldwide computer network that exchanges information on many subjects. People mostly use the internet as a search engine to find out about their questions within a short amount of time being used. Books, on the other hand, are a source of information recorded on stacks of written paper. Books are used to study, remind, read from, and used many other ways. Sometimes people misuse things; we can never say when there can be danger even with the simplest item such as a book. The internet is not a safe place to be exploring everywhere while trusting every source because it is public and everyone can change anything. People can get a website and write what they think, not actual facts. Books, however, can be safer because unlike internet, there are no network connections within books so no one can get your personal information. Moreover, no one will even know you are reading. Although book readers doesn’t have to worry about privacy issues, books can still be harmful and dangerous towards society. Books use plenty of papers. The uses of papers are enormous. The Internet is a global network that connects computers and there are search engines within it such as Google, which is a famous search engine that was commonly used among most people today. The Internet is used by most people since it is more efficient to find what you are looking for. All you need to do is type what you want to know on the search bar and what is related with your question is going to pop up. Even though it is fast and easy, some information on the internet is unreliable so one cannot trust everything he or she sees. The internet is a place where people can publish a website and post anything on it. Books on the other hand, may take more time, space, and trouble. But books are much more reliable than the internet since books have to go through an editor for it to be published at the least. People also tend to use books and internet together to find the right information that they need. There are libraries that have websites where you can look for the books online. When you have found the right book for them, then people can go to the library and get the book that they need from a source that they know that it is reliable. Internet is fast and easy but narrow in good sources while books are replete with reliable sources but consumes time to find what you
