The pros and cons of using the Internet

Recently, the number of people using the Internet has been on the rise. The opinions in the society are divided. Some people think that it can help us to find information while some think that it wastes a lot of time. In this article, I will talk about the pros and cons of surfing the Net.

First and foremost, surfing the Internet can help us get the information we need. Nowadays, we have to do many projects and news clipping homework. The most convenient way for us to search foe the information is using the Internet. On the Internet, there are many pieces of information in different categories. They can absolutely fulfill our needed. Unlike newspaper, there is little information in it. The number of information we can find in the newspaper is far less than that on the Net. Besides, getting information form the newspaper is so inconvenient. We need to read each page of the newspaper to see whether there is the information we need. On the contrary, if we look for the information on the Internet, we just need to click a few buttons. Hardly can we finish the homework without the Internet. Obviously, the Internet is a good source for us to get information.

Apart from looking for the information, we can alleviate our pressure by using the Net. In this era, many of us are under tremendous pressure owing to the exam-oriented education system. We must put great effort on our studies. However, we may be frustrated and stressful all the time. Therefore, we should relax ourselves. Playing online games is one of the ways in order to alleviate our pressure. When we are playing online games, we will feel joyful and delighted because of the victories on the games. Hence, we can surely release the stress owing to our studies. Needless to say, playing games on the Net can help us relax ourselves.
