Computer workgroups need to be scalable. Scalability is the ease at which a network system can be expanded or upgraded should the need arise. As a rule, all computer workgroup networks should:
Support growth in the number of users for the foreseeable life of the technology
Allow for increase in data traffic and storage needs as the network grows
Be flexible to allow for the incorporation of new technologies as they emerge When new workgroups established, it is important to conduct and audit on the needs of the network users to find out what resources they need to access. This process will then inform your decision on that and with whom resources should be shared. In general, there are some basic areas and resources need to be shared.
Hardware periphersal
Printers and scanners
Data
Customer lists
Databases of sales information
Services, such as email
Other computers Both desktop and laptop computers
Personal digital assistants

Equipment requirement
For a computer workgroup to be established, certain equipment must be used. As a rule, all workgroup networks should have computers that want to share resources on the network, along with:
Computers equipped with network cards
It is an expansion card that enables acomputer to connect to a network; such as a home network, or the Internet using an Ethernet cable with an RJ-45 connector.
Ethernet hub
A common connection point for devices in a network. Hubs are commonly used to connect segments of a LAN. A hub contains multiple ports. When a packet arrives at one port, it is copied to the other ports so that all segments of the LAN can see all packets.
Ethernet cables
Alternatively referred to as a cord, connector or plug, a cable is

Local Area Networks (LANs) connect multiple computers that in a geographically limited area, this can be within the same room or building, to share information and resources. A LAN enables devices to communicate over a network with one another internally, otherwise known as an intranet. Each Kudler location would represent a LAN since each location has an internal network that is sharing local resources. The majority of LANs are connected using cables with copper or optics, but a network setup to communicate wirelessly is referred to as a wireless network.…

    2) Peer to peer networks are also sometimes called work groups depending on the terminology used by the administrator. In a peer to peer network files are shared freely without a central server as a hub for the information. An example of this would be the network that is set up at my house. This uses both my tablet and laptop for instance I can store information on either device but I also have the ability to share information with both devices if they are connected to a wireless router.…

People from different parts of the world have been migrating to the United States for hundreds of years. During the 1920s and 1950s, there was a huge wave of Italian immigrants voyaging to our country. More than four million Italians had left their country and traveled by boat for seven dreadful, agonizing days before arriving in America. Travelers took their first steps on U.S. soil in Ellis Island, the federal immigration station, where Italians had to pass medical and legal inspections before being allowed to enter the United States. This dramatic surge in immigration was brought upon by Italians desperately trying to escape their poverty-stricken lives in pursuit of the American Dream. Upon arriving to America, Italians hoped for better lives with more job opportunities and better education.…

Ethernet is a frame-based computer networking technology for local area networks (LANs). It defines wiring and signaling for the physical layer, and frame formats and protocols for the media access control (MAC)/data link layer of the OSI model. Ethernet is mostly standardized as IEEE 802.3. It has become the most widespread LAN technology in use during the 1990s to the present day. Each network peer has a globally unique 48-bit key known as the MAC address factory-assigned to the network interface card (NIC), to ensure that all systems in an Ethernet LAN have distinct addresses. Due to the ubiquity of Ethernet, many manufacturers build the functionality of an Ethernet card directly into a motherboard.…
