Intj Case Study
INTJs have a natural tendency for organization, people look to them for a job well done and INTJs seize these opportunities doing it with ease. Their Introversion encourages inward reflection. Their iNutrition looks at the “big picture” with endless possibilities. Their Thinking means they prefer to make decisions objectively, while their Judging creates a routine with structure, schedule, and order. These preferences create a person with confidence stability, competence, intellectual insight, and self-assurance.
INTJs want to be able to tackle intellectually stimulating work with no interruptions. Team-building activities, progress meetings, or any other non-value added effort, will only annoy INTJs. It doesn’t matter if they are a manager,

They will establish themselves as experts completing their work for its own importance. Their ambition is generally not for a managerial promotion, for INTJs titles mean very little. Trust and respect from their perspective is earned. INTJs prefer their managers to be intelligent and able to give and receive; opinions, criticism, and results.
Since INTJs are introverted, they don’t actively seek to work in or as a team and will try to avoid workplace drama. They prefer to focus on the task at hand and not socialize during work. They are natural leaders, self starters who love challenges, and will take initiative all on their own; they are not needy individuals.
INTJs are analytical, they would rather base their decisions on facts and data, translating these into the “bigger picture” and providing their perspective. They strive for perfections and are very strategic in thinking seeing things thru to completion, although they would prefer to leave the day-to-day activities in some other capable hands and not get to wrapped up in the details. INTJ’s focus heavily on efficiency and results having an “work smarter – not harder” type attitude. They deal with things rationally and logically and like to spend time to reflect on “what could be” rather than “what is”. They’re extremely insightful, and see things that are not obvious to others.     The person that I chose to interview for my profile report is my sister’s boyfriend Dan, he is 31 years old. I had him take the personality test first (Myers Briggs). I asked him if he had ever taken the Myers Briggs test before or any other personality tests and his response was no. It took him approximately 30 minutes to complete the test. His results were ESTJ, Extroverted 70%, Sensing 53.13%, Thinking 55.26%, and Judging 61.29%. ESTJ is categorized as “administrator”, much in touch with the external environment and very responsible. I found more information on what ESTJ really means on the personality page web site and printed them out and gave them to Dan to further understand his results. On the website he was categorized as “The Guardian”. Here is a part from the ESTJ portrait: As an ESTJ, your primary mode of living is focused externally, where you deal with things rationally and logically. Your five senses in a literal, concrete fashion. ESTJ’s live in a world of facts and concrete needs. They live in the present, with their eye constantly scanning their personal environment to make that everything is running smoothly and systematically. They honor traditions and laws, and have a clear set of standards and beliefs. They expect the same of others, and have no patience or understanding of individuals who do not value these systems. They value competence and efficiency, and like to quick results for their efforts. ESTJ’s are take-charge people. They have a clear vision of the way that things should be, that they naturally step into leadership roles. They are self-confident and aggressive. My primary objective is identity seeking. My life consists of being a teacher or a giver.
