They will establish themselves as experts completing their work for its own importance. Their ambition is generally not for a managerial promotion, for INTJs titles mean very little. Trust and respect from their perspective is earned. INTJs prefer their managers to be intelligent and able to give and receive; opinions, criticism, and results.
Since INTJs are introverted, they don’t actively seek to work in or as a team and will try to avoid workplace drama. They prefer to focus on the task at hand and not socialize during work. They are natural leaders, self starters who love challenges, and will take initiative all on their own; they are not needy individuals.
INTJs are analytical, they would rather base their decisions on facts and data, translating these into the “bigger picture” and providing their perspective. They strive for perfections and are very strategic in thinking seeing things thru to completion, although they would prefer to leave the day-to-day activities in some other capable hands and not get to wrapped up in the details. INTJ’s focus heavily on efficiency and results having an “work smarter – not harder” type attitude. They deal with things rationally and logically and like to spend time to reflect on “what could be” rather than “what is”. They’re extremely insightful, and see things that are not obvious to others. This ability to see patterns and meanings
