Introduction:

A. Attention Grabber
According to INFOGRAPHIC Every minute of the day thousands of photos are shared on Instagram, tens of thousands of tweets are exchanged on Twitter, hours of YouTube videos are uploaded and hundreds of thousands of pieces of content are posted to Facebook.
B. Listener Relevance
The excitement of getting 20 likes on a post, or reaching that 100+ mark on your followers’ list, all of us sitting in this room are products of our society, and is an interest to some and obsession to many. Whatever your preferred choice of social network, or many combinations of many, we are the generation of Internet babies and have all been affected by the social media bug.
C. Speaker Credibility
From kicking MySpace to the curb, getting into heated debates on Twitter, falling in and out of love Facebook throughout its several changes, I mean updates, and being in an infatuated trance spending hours on Tumbler, I have treated my social networking sites like a real life relationship, and a evolving factor that I have incorporated in my life for the last seven years.
D. Thesis Statement
Social Media and Social Networking are big phenomenon of this millennium and it is fascinating how this young form of communication has connected people from across the globe and introduced new forms of business in our ever-evolving world.
