Introduction

Defense of the Ancients or what we called DOTA is widely regarded as one of the most popular game across the world especially around South East Asia. DOTA is a modification or more pricely a costum scenario in real-time multi strategy game.The objective of the scenario is to destroy the opponents Ancient or the towers. Player use powerful unit called “heroes” and are assisted by allied heroes and Artificial Intelligence (A-1) or computer controlled fighters called “creeps”. As in role playing games, players level up their hero and use gold to buy equipment during mission. The first version of DOTA was released in 2003 by a map-maker under the alias of Eul and developed by modder Steve Feak. DOTA is one of students past time and reliever of boredome. Many students are getting adiicted to it. The DOTA gaming strategy uses mental alertness,mental abilities and mathemathecal abilities.Teamwork is very important to win the game. In playing DOTA the players need to become mentally alert, cooperative and fucos to the game.The players create a scenario and use their schema to understand and respond to the situation of the game. The game has two consequences it is to win or to lose the game. Therefore, the players should fucos on what strategy they will use in the game in order to win the battle. The more the game gets exciting the more the player is motivated to win the game. In every game, players learn skills that they may use in every situation.

II-Review of related literature and studies Computer games are already a phenomenom of greater cultural importance than say movies or perhaps even sports. Seen from 2001, the potencial cultural role(s) of the computer games in the future is practically unfathomable. It seems clear that these games especially multi-player game,
