CHAPTER I
OBJECTIVES OF ON-THE-JOB TRAINING

1. To pursue venerable career in a professional organization enable achieving company’s objectives of development, customer pleasure and service.

2. Together with assets for instance sincerity, truthfulness and struggle for excellence, add value and strength to the company, to empower the student or the team where he is a fraction of.

3. In quest of a position in a top business where the OJT is able to transmit the knowledge gained through bachelor’s degree. Determinedly deem in the principle of implementing duties with loyalty and courage.

4. To grow capably by giving skills to the association and vice versa.
5. To work in a demanding environment where skills and efforts is explored and familiarized the varied OJT fields, and understand potentials and add to the growth of the organization with inspiring performance.

6. To utilize knowledge and skills for the implementation of organizational goals.
CHAPTER II
TRAINING AGENCY/COMPANY PROFILE

PHILOSOPHY
“It is the policy of the State to establish, develop, promote and perfect a sound and viable tax-exempt social security system suitable to the needs of the people throughout the Philippines which shall promote social justice and provide meaningful protection to members and their families against the hazards of disability, sickness, maternity, old age, death and other contingencies resulting in loss of income or financial burden. Toward this end, the State shall endeavor to extend social security protection to workers and their beneficiaries.” (Section 2, RA 8282)
VISSION
“The SSS aims to develop and promote a viable, universal and equitable social security protection scheme through world-class service.”

    Social Security was first established on June 1981 in Belize City. This organization is a member of the International Social Security Association based in Geneva, Switzerland, a member of the Comite Permanente Interamericano de Seguridad Social, Mexico (C.P.I.S.S.) and in February, 1994 joined (CISSCAD) Consejo de Instituciones de Seguridad Social en Centro America y Republica Dominicana for which the Social Security Board now holds the Presidency. This organization was formed for the sole reason of giving benefits to employed persons. But here the Prime Minister of Belize, Hon. George Cadle Price places it in a more elaborated way "... Social Security is but the beginning of developing the proper attitudes of responsibility for older or injured citizens, so that we become conscious of the human and social obligations, which the economy must strive to meet." Employees from fourteen and older have benefits such as maternity benefits which are paid to pregnant women who qualify, and Funeral Grant is paid to the survivors of a deceased insured person who qualifies for the benefit, just to name a few. It is the employee's and employers responsibility to register with Social Security. Social Security strives to deliver cost effective and top quality service to their beneficiaries and other stakeholders, to grow and protect a sustainable social security fund with integrity and transparency.
