The Inuit, Haida, and the Sioux have many things in common. All of these tribes live in Canada.(Inuit) Northern Canada, (Haida)West coast of British Columbia (Queen Charlotte Islands), (Sioux) Southern Manitoba. They all have a traditional myth (that they like to tell during the bonfire), (Inuit) Red and White Fox, (Haida) Raven and the first men, (Sioux) First people of America and Canada. Another thing is that they all hunt animals. (Inuit) Seals, Whales, Caribou, Foxes,
Bears, Rodents, (Haida) Fish, Selfish, Whales, Otters, Turtles, (Sioux) The Sioux mostly what the Inuit and the Haida hunt. One last thing they all have in common is that they all have hunting tools for land animals and underwater animals. The Inuit make theirs out of animal body parts like bones and teeth, (Haida) Nets, Traps, and Harpoons, (Sioux) Bows, Arrows, Spears, and Shields. All of these tribes have many things in common.
The Inuit have their differences from the Haida, and the Sioux. The Inuit mostly hunt animals that are prey. Caribou is one of the animals that they hunt, goats, birds (if lucky enough), sometimes little rodents. Their houses are more like tepees (with drawings of animals or spirits on them.) their houses are made out of wood and Buffalo hides. What they use for hunting tools is different because of materials they use. Animal parts like, bones, teeth, and more like strong skin. The Inuit are different and unique in their own ways.
The Haida have their differences too, like what their tools are and their houses. Their houses are like log houses, very big, has a lot of open space (nothing like the Inuits or Haida’s houses.) They use very old and dry wood and dry grass, but they also use ropes to (very little.) The Haida do more fishing type hunting but they do hunt other animals. Just because of their location they usually hunt, fish, crab, turtles, shellfish, whales and other underwater types of animals. They use different type hunting tools than the Sioux or Inuit. The use more type things like nets, ropes, and harpoons, and other underwater traps. The Haida is different from the Inuit and Sioux in their own ways.
The Haida and the Inuit have their differences but so does the Sioux. They hunt most animals that are predators, not as much prey like the Inuit. The Sioux, mostly hunts Foxes, Coyotes, and Eagles, but that would be a great reward. Their houses are more like the Inuits houses but they use more materials. They use wood, and hide any type of hide (that’s necessary) the hides are sometimes meant as leather, they barely ever use grass. They use different hunting tools (some you would think would come from Native Americans.) For their hunting tools they use Bows, Arrows, Spears, and very little they will use a Shield. All of these tribes have their differences but they are all unique especially the Sioux.
The Inuit, Haida, and the Sioux all have things in common but they all have differences. They all are different but they are the same, the Inuit, the Haida, and the Sioux. Are you part of a tribe or know someone that is what other tribe are they have in common or have as a difference between them.
