Juliet, herself contributes to because she secretly sees Romeo behind Capulet’s backs, she disobeys her own parents, and she chooses to use the vial Friar Lawrence gives her in order to be with Romeo forever. Since Romeo and Juliet were part of the Montague’s and Capulet’s, they were long time rivals. That’s why she got her nurse involved to cover for her when she needed it. She would use the nurse to send messages to Romeo, just like a messenger. Juliet also disobeyed her parents by marrying someone Capulet and Lady Capulet don’t approve of. Back then, arranged marriages were a very common thing. Towards the end of the play, Juliet drank a vial so she can fall into deep sleep. Romeo thought she was actually dead, so he killed himself. He said that since there’s no Juliet there’s no reason for him to be alive. Then Juliet wakes up and kills herself also because Romeo is dead. “Romeo, Romeo, Romeo, here’s drink-I drink to thee” is a quotation when she was about to drink the vial.
