Is It Better for People to Stop Trying When They Feel Certain They Will Not Succeed?
Assignment: Is it better for people to stop trying when they feel certain they will not succeed?

Although there is the notion held by some people that we should give up some tasks in our life which "seem" not to be successful forever, I really consider that we should insist on everything we want to do. For, the consistency and the durability of the certain thing will lead us to splendid success. Due to Continuation, Mathew Emmons, a famous sport shooter, and Alfred Nobel, known for his invention of dynamite, earn themselves irreplaceable fame in their respective fields.

Matthew Emmons, though missed the Olympics Games champ in shooting all the time, still impresses us with his fortitude. As a famous American shooter, Matthew attended Olympics Games for three times separately during the past twelve years; he missed the first place unchangeably. Nevertheless, he always appeared at the great games, chasing after his dream to become the champ in shooting. During the Olympics of Athens, he let his champ go by bombing in the last shoot. Matthew, though frustrated, still collected enough courage to participate in the following games in Beijing and London. Unfortunately, misfortune happened on him again; He implausibly scored only few points in the last shoot in the final of his games, narrowly escaping the champ. Afterwards, interviewed by journalists, Matthew said that he would assiduously prepare for Rio de Janeiro. Undeniably, he might feel distressed when he failed in so many great games; he never gives up. Instead, he insists on training and hopes to attend the Game in Rio de Janeiro, 2016.

At the same time, the unstopped experiment made by Alfred Nobel can illustrate my idea. Alfred Nobel owes his irreplaceable fame as an inventor of dynamite. Alfred Nobel cultivated great interest in science, especially in explosive, since very young under the influence of his father. Alfred Nobel engaged himself into experiments to find a more powerful and stable

Therefore, no matter the goal you are trying to reach, always know failure comes with the enjoyment of success. If I felt like a failure after finding out I did not receive the opportunity to be accepted into the school, I would not have been able to push myself to become greater. Try and you shall succeed. If being successful or achieving a goal was easy; many people would be successful already. However, since being successful or achieving a goal takes a great deal of time and comes with failure; some people rather give up than keep on…

In order succeeded I had to try, to really work, and while that might not be factual for every scenario, without an attempt nothing would ever be accomplished. By living in dread of the outcome of any situation, the situation is not altered. I have come to the conclusion that trying is not always about succeeding; it is about finding your passion and pursuing…

“Never give up, and be confident in what you do. There may be tough times, but the difficulties which gave you face will make you more determined to achieve your objectives and to win against all odds.” This was what women’s Brazilian soccer star Marta once advised. Never giving up may sound like a goal that is impossible to reach in reality. Although that may be true, in literature there are characters who exhibit it ideally. For instance, Joan Bauer’s short story “A Letter from the Fringe” introduces a figure who showcases these traits. On a somber day, Dana, the protagonist, a high school student at Bronley High was tormented by bullies alongside her friend Sally for being overweight. Although, it seemed as if her heart had been torn out and thrown to the side, she was capable of forcing the two tyrants to flee. Afterwards, she insisted that they had no right to…

Adversity comes across everyone’s lives in which some decide to overcome the obstacles and others decide to let it be a blockade from their talents. By facing difficult situations, one can realize a potential solution by using his/her talent that is elicited from the difficult situation. The potential/talents of individuals would not be recognized if individuals decide to not overcome the obstacles which would cause their potential/talents to be hidden from themselves. There are difficult experiences in which people go through that resulted in the eliciting of one’s talents such as the observations made by Darowski on the survivors of World War II or an individual’s personal experience. Whether a person already contains a unique talent or not, it is the eliciting of talents from adversity that would lead to a prosperous…

Failure, when pertaining to human achievement is the act of not reaching success. Failure, though, in its own right is just an idea because as Winston Churchill once said, “ Success is not final, failure is not final; it is the courage to continue that counts.” This is a lesson I learned at the end of my freshman year of high school. Freshman year wasn’t my best year academically, athletically, or socially. I wasn’t specifically failing in any of those areas, but I released at the end of year how strikingly mundane I had been when I thought I should have been exceling. I beat myself up, considering anything less than my expectations a failure. I wanted to give up and not care. The weird thing is though, is that this mishap I had didn’t detour…

Some of the things I think about when I just want to give up is,“You have the patience, the strength and the passion to meet your ambitions your goals and your dreams. All you need to do now, is try.”also “What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals.” I had to really think about what it really meant but now I…

For some people it takes forever to figure out that failure is not always a bad thing, while at the time it may seem like the end of the world. “We are all potentially capable of any human act.” (Roth 39). Even the most successful of people have failed at something at least once in their lives. Maybe consider though, that failure was what brought them back up to the best, hardest working person that they could be and it did not take long for them to retrieve what they had lost and made it ten times better!…
