Is Julius Caesar A Misogynist Analysis
While Chaucer's has the appearance of a feminist, he is truly a misogynist. The allusion that he is a feminist comes from his understanding what women want. This is shown when the woman states she want to free of her husband's supervision and be able to do what she want with respect for their decisions. This proves he has a true understanding of feminism, but just because someone understands what someone wants doesn’t mean they support their opinion. For example, someone could understand what ISIS wants to achieve, but will not support the group. Yes, there could still be a chance that he does believe that women should have equal rights; yet, it doesn’t seem likely when after every comment about equal treatment female does something to counteract
