Both Macbeth and Lady Macbeth have plenty of ambition and seek out to achieve their goals. Macbeth has blind ambition. He acts, but doesn’t think first. He takes plans one step at a time, without thinking of the consequences. Only afterwards, his thoughts take over him. He is the more logical, sensitive character. Lady Macbeth’s ambition pushes Macbeth towards his downfall. She is the voice in his head telling him to just do it, and she will taunt his manliness if he has doubts.
