Aside from homework, projects, and quizzes, there is no accurate way to assess students other than with standardized tests. There are many benefits in the long run from taking standardized tests in high school. For example it helps prepare students for exams and other tests that people will be required to take in college or applying for a job. In addition, these baseline tests ensure that students have met the requirement to pass high school and have the basic skills they need in math, english, and science.
Standardized testing gives a fair opportunity to every student because they are given the same test across the board. It tests students “knowledge, skills and understanding” of various concepts for that grade year. These help other people see where you should be placed in your learning for future references such as college or different programs
