Sep 26th 2014 Biography of Isaac Newton Isaac Newton was born on January 4th 1643 in Woolsthorpe, England. He was an outstanding physicist and mathematician and was credited as one of the great minds of the 17th century Scientific Revolution. Newton had accomplished on several subjects, such as: Math, Physics, Astronomy and so on. He was died in London on March 31th 1727. He lived for 85 years. Isaac Newton was the only son of a prosperous local farmer who also named as Isaac Newton. He was died three months before Sir Newton was born. Therefore Newton was raised by his grandmother. As a premature baby, Newton was weak and tiny when he was born. According to his Mother Margery Ayscough, Newton can be placed in a 1 quarter's Mug when he was burn. In 1648, Newton was sent to school by his mother. Young Newton was not a child prodigy, but he extremely liked reading books. He liked to read instructions on how to make simple machines and learned a lot from the books. He also loved to make little dingus by himself such as windmill, clocks and so on. At the age of 12, Newton went to the King's School in Grantham, a town in Lincolnshire, where he lodged with a local apothecary and was introduced to the fascinating world of chemistry. However, soon, his mother pulled him out of school, for her plan was to make him a farmer and have him tend the farm. Newton failed miserably, as he found farming tedious and monotonous. While doing famers in the field, Newton would always find himself time to read the books and do his science experiments. He was back to school shortly after his uncle was moved by his desire of knowledge. His uncle, a graduate of the University of Cambridge's Trinity College, persuaded Newton's mother to have him enter the university.
