JROTC Class Reflection
Through this year I have learned a lot of things in my JROTC class, thing that while stick with me for my whole life, and I will apply them in my next year which is my senior year. Those thing that I learned are discipline, teamwork and respect.

I knew one or two things about discipline and I did not think too much about it, but when we start to drill that was the switch that turn on the discipline, discipline is an ability, a very important ability it makes you react and execute a command properly in a snap, discipline it is very important anywhere you go.

Teamwork is very important for the flight because it is a way to cooperate and communicate with others, teamwork it can be useful anywhere it can be applied in a sports team, in a job

Rowan, although his rank and full name elude us, has given me a new sense of knowledge to what the word discipline really means and how it is meant to be used. Before I read this essay, I was under the impression that discipline was just simply doing what you are supposed to do in a timely manner. Now, after reading the essay, I know that it means not only doing what you are supposed to do, but also doing that even when no one is around and doing what you are…

the fact that JROTC is a student-led class, it gives students a chance to be in a leadership position and work with other cadets. Personally, I have gained more confidence, better people skills, and a better personality. JROTC brings out the best of cadets because of the high level of maturity expected of the cadets from the instructors and the giant involvement of students. This program also prepares us for the world after high school. We learn to step outside of our comfort zone and become accustom to the world around us. We also learn to work together as a team with other people with other…

Some say that keeping yourself and others around you safe is the most important role of discipline. Entering any sort of dangerous situation without the knowledge or discipline to adhere to the basic rules could not only cause your own death, but also risking the lives of everyone around you. Although this is a very valid reason, some may argue that if someone accidently breaches the rules without knowing their breaking a rule, then it is completely reliant on the training given to that person.…

Without the JROTC program, I would never get the chance to honor brave men and women who have risked their lives for the freedom of our people. It was through participation that the program provides us with common set of rules and commands to follow. Within these set of rules, we are to listen carefully, learn from it and take action. JROTC has taught me the meaning of a good citizen. It opened a door to show the true colors of a patriotic citizen. This program has guided me into the successful path in achieving my goals. It teaches me to be respectful to others and taught me how to display my pride for my country. Also, they have shown me how one can be so dedicated to serving their country. They have taught me to help others who are not in the position to help themselves; to be helpful and considerate. To be willing to put others before myself. Learning to give back to the community; to show dedication and patriotism towards this country.…

One thing that I learned was the importance of teamwork and how it can affect each individual participating as well as the team as a whole. There was so much drama and contention the the team that year so it was hard for everyone to work together and be united as one. Another lesson I took from that year was how having a positive attitude can make or break any experience you may be going through. If you have a negative attitude it not only affects you but it also affects those people around you which isn't very good for a whole team. Freshman year also taught me how to put up with people I don't particularly like just for the sake of not creating any drama and keeping the team as one. At times I wanted to quit so badly because the year was so hard but I realize now that if you endure some things to the end then you will feel more accomplished in the…

I learned many things, between those… team work, we think that we can do everything by ourselves, but actually we need too much about other people, of what they can give us, of what they can teach us, of what they can correct our mistakes, and of what they can do with us, with a mutually effort. I learned to fight, don´t stop and don´t surrender when you have a goal, a mountain to arrive. I learned to look for the things, all what is necessary to get what you want.…

When our professor Sir Joseph Ribo announced that we have to interview a programmer for our project, I was really happy that time because I really want to do interviews. We went at One McKinley Place, Fort Bonifacio, Global City. We interviewed Mrs. Charisse Sarmiento Sulit. When I was still a high school student I already dreamt of being on an office. When we arrived at the place I was really amazed and I noted to myself that “this is where is should be/work after I graduate”. I had fun interviewing the programmer, and the programmer answered the questions briefly. She introduced us her programs, we were amazed on what programs she made. She showed us around and give us ideas on how they work on a program and on how they finish them.…
