James Heller Prototype 2
The first video game that comes to mind when thinking about the extreme imagery that pain races in a harmful light is Prototype 2. Prototype 2 is a game where the protagonist, James Heller, seeks revenge after his family was killed by a virus. James Heller's character design is deigned in such a way that it displays a threatening figure. The color pallet James Heller's design has is primarily dark and bloody colors. With a black jacket the dark red sharp shapes make him look less soft and gives him a more hard and imposing image. On top of that he has a overly sized mutant blade with veins with pulsing red that looks like blood connected to his body. Blood is a fascinating hue. It’s sometimes crimson, scarlet, ruby red, or even bold red. Crimson is the stain that’s painted on my fingers, since I just accomplished a mission-to murder Simon Krell, who continued torturing his family members on a daily basis. Although he continued being a dangerous man, it was so simple to kill him that it occurred to be laughable, all the acting skills I needed was to pretend to act alike his maid and suddenly shoot the filthy person. As I laughed, my storm eyes gazed at the glowing sky that had waves of gleaming dots on it. A silver ellipse remained framed in the inky sky, supported with millions of winking balls of fire.…

He was often portrayed with three heads, symbolising the past, present and future, or new birth, growth and old age. He had a serpent for a tail, the claws of a lion and the heads of snakes grew from his back. Some people said he had one or two heads, and a small amount said he had a large number like fifty. The word gene comes from the word for ‘origin' in Greek. Genes are sections of DNA that determine the structure of a protein. They are the foundation of all life on earth. They form and decide the characteristics of every living creature and the genes that exist today are there because they have been successfully reproduced in the past. The DNA that determines the person that we grow into is created from half of each of our parents DNA. In the process of evolution certain genes have been eradicated in natural selection because the creatures that sprung from them were weaker than other creatures and did not survive. In most human societies life is seen to be valued equally and people who suffer from genetic disorders are supported and cared for instead of disregarded or left to die as they would be in animal societies.…

Video game consoles have made their way into the households and hearts of millions of people all around the world. New games of all different genres are continually being produced and bought by consumers from every inch of the globe, only becoming more popular as time goes on. Throughout the past couple of years technology as a whole has been on a drastic up rise. With continuous breakthroughs in the technological field the video game industry has been able to flourish into its current state. Companies now days are able to produce more and more realistic like gaming experiences. These life-like graphics and visual effects put the gamer right in the action, bringing joy to many while enraging numerous others. The way in which one views and understands the game’s contents is the way in which one perceives the video game. More often than not parents, who do not play video games, tend to focus on the negative aspects of the game, namely violence. The parents who are buying the video games for their children see only the cruelty and disgusting features making up only part of the whole. Most avid gamers would agree with the above statement, arguing the blood and gore is just a small part of the many aspects of some video games that complement the other components such as graphic quality and plot. The way in which one perceives an individual video game more often than not depends on whether or not the person is a gamer. The way in which some people perceive video games angers me because it seems as though they are over looking the big picture and viewing the game with a pessimistic point of view. By doing this, those people are doing themselves and the creators of games an injustice.…

The photo depicts a male teenager with spiked hair, dark eyes, pierced ear, and stubble on his lip and chin. These characteristics are typically indicative of a more rebellious or aggressive individual. His concentration is evident in his wide-eyed expression and his grimacing face with his tongue in his mouth. He holds the console in a tight grip as shown by the redness of his skin around his thumbs, which indicates his level of intensity. All of these details compliment the notion that video games may be unknowingly impacting areas of the brain associated with aggression. Professor Craig A. Anderson of Iowa State University describes this as follows: “The effects aren’t huge or immediately noticeable by a game player, but they tend to increase over time” (Bernstein 14). The player may not feel more aggressive after playing a game, but there may be evidence to suggest the effect is still there none the…
