Jan And Klaud Analysis
Flashback 2: Jan and Klaud
In the greens, it was a rainy day and everybody in the makeshift camp was trying to make thier shelter as quick as possible to get out of the rain. Jan bent down to build his own structure to sleep in. It wasn't much, but he had some sticks and a few rocks and a small bit of rope. He took the time to shave down the sticks with the braches on them and after he did that, he placed the two large sticks in a triangle position and tied them together, he also did the same for the other side. Once he had a makeshift tent for him to sleep in, he had made it over to the General's position.
"General Klaud, I see you are needing some help there?
Klaud respectfully declined my offer, too prideful to let me help her.
Well,

We were in the forest, slowly approaching two rabbits. How lucky! This could supply a few members with some better meals for the day and night. IRIS lead me toward the target while I aimed my gun carefully at the rabbit eating grass. As soon as I saw my target, I shot the rabbit. As the rabbit fell, IRIS helped me pick up the dead animal and observed it making sure it would be enough for tonight.
As me and IRIS returned from our trip successfully, I returned to see Klaud for the night. "So, Klaud what was that about?
Klaud replied with a slow tone replying "It's about another ally on our side. " He nodded and crossed his arms listening. The sun was slowly going down for the day, and the moon started to rise again. Jan remained quiet for a while as he thought about things and then turned back "Klaud, have you ever thought about..being together sometime?"
Klaud wasn't sure about the thought but wondered what had happened during that kiss during the night. Jan looked at Klaud and frowned "Klaud... Thank you for spending the time with me and whatever happens out there, please keep safe. He took off a necklace and gave it to Klaud "Look, it's ..from my world and it's not much, but remember me ok?
Klaud just sat there and stared at Jan. "I can't, Jan. I... "
IRIS looked at the two and sighed "Maybe i should give you some private space to talk things

Alan B. Krueger and Jitka Maleckova bring a simple correlation to poverty and terrorism. There is no doubt that education directly correlates to the success of the individual. “Instead of viewing terrorism as a direct response to low market opportunities or lack of education, we suggest it is more accurately viewed as a response to political conditions and long-standing feelings of indignity and frustration (perceived or real) that have little to do with economics.” “Alan B. Krueger and Jitka Maleckova” Does Poverty Cause Terrorism?, June 23 2002. Directly relating this to the problems in the Middle East is simple enough with what has been developing over the last few years there. Terrorism is defined as violence for or against a state, though it is sometimes difficult to tell, like in the Middle East, who is actually the legitimate government. Though the widely accepted definition is "premeditated, politically motivated violence perpetrated against noncombatant targets by…

The coachman approached the side of the coach, opened the door and he peered inside the coach, "Okay lad come out. " Lucinda's level of fear intensified before being able to react as a result of sight of four riders in the distance, approaching the coach. One of the riders, she remembered was the man with the long beard covering his large unsightly scar. The coachman, "Leave the carriage or will I drag you out?" Staring directly into his eyes and drawing her knife: "I warn you, the best is that you will give up your plans, whatever that may be, you'll regret it if you would not."…

I decided to set fire in the hole and smoke it out. I pulled out my fire kit and put the drill in the hole of the hearth board. Using the bow I brought, I rubbed the bearing block and the drill against each other. The smoke came whirling around, and soon my beautiful flames started to burn. I blew at the flames, not too hard and not too weak. And there it was, a perfect fire to drive the rabbits out. I set the fire at the den and soon a light-brown-furred rabbit came storming out of its house. Quickly, I picked up my bow and arrow and aimed at the rabbit. Ping! My arrow flew fast and speedy, and it hit directly at the animal. My first hunting was a success! Happily, using my fire, I cooked the rabbit and ate…

The five of us start off with the remaining colt meat and the measly amount of berries we have. Both of which are not enough to supply five grown men for a day, much less three days. As we hunt the trees swaying indicate a breeze, but the scorching sun makes it so that the breeze is not present with us. The birds, chipmunks, and what we called the White-tailed jackrabbit could all be seen and heard, but no animals worth hunting made an appearance. Nobody spoke unless absolutely necessary. We all wanted to conserve our energy in order to not need as much food. This tactic was not effective, but it gave us comfort. The silence of our voices were interrupted by the growl of my stomach, so Will sat and…

Catastrophic incidents create devastation beyond normal expectations and are very difficult to predict. It is the mission of the Department to safeguard the American people, our Homeland, and our values. Additionally, the Secretary of Homeland Security coordinates preparedness activities within the United States to respond to and recover from terrorist attacks, major disasters, and other emergencies. However, DHS planning and preparedness efforts have not historically been developed to accommodate catastrophic disasters, and this complicated real-world response operations for these low-probability, high-consequence events. Thus, identified as a priority by DHS senior leaders and tasked by the Secretary in the FY2017 Operational Planning Guidance (FY2017 OPG) catastrophic disaster planning is a DHS priority. For these reasons, a Departmental plan to prepare for and respond to a catastrophic incident is a Departmental responsibility and the OPG-tasked CDS CONOPS will address the S1 guidance, while a tabletop exercise (TTX) will put the plan into action safeguarding Americans and protecting our Homeland.…

The good thing about federalism is that the national government doesn’t hold ABSOLUTE power. They have to share some responsibilities with the states. According to the textbook, these are referred to as concurrent powers. Concurrent power in the constitution is described as “…power shared by the state and the federal government” (Goals of the Constitution, 222). For instance, the states and federal government must enforce our laws. These types of laws include things like using a passport to leave the country to obeying traffic rules on the road. Specifically, when _________________________, and _____________ in each state. Another shared responsibility between the states and federal government is collecting taxes. Citizens of the United…
