The formal language is usually used to show respect to whoever they are talking to, people they meet for the first time or talking to an elder person and so on. The second language is used for people who are familiar with each other, friends, sister, brother, wife, and kids. The second is katakana which is used to translate foreign words and names, and the last is Romaji which is used for Latin alphabets “acronyms and initialisms”. Unlike Japan, Korea has two different languages, North Korea uses the old Korean language which was spoken at ancient times and south uses a new Korean language more like the modified one which isn’t that different from the original language.
The second obvious difference is the population. “Japan’s total population is estimated at 125.6 million, with a density of 337 people per square kilometer”.Japan is ranked seventh in the world population. 49% of all Japanese live in the largest three cities, Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya. Like other countries; Japan’s population growth has slowed down early this year with decreased rate of deaths. But on the other hand, “Korea’s total population is estimated at 47 million, with a density of 476 people per square kilometer”. Most Korean lived in Seoul –urban area- however people started moving to suburban areas of Seoul.
