Treaty of Versailles
I do not believe that the Treaty of Versailles gave every country what they wanted after World War I. If this was the case then there would probably not have been a World War II. Those that were considered victorious received most of their wants and needs, everyone else just went along with the games, this is why World War II came about; it was not a fair treaty for all involved.
The Treaty of Versailles famously did not satisfy most of the countries involved after the First World War. In fact, the Second World War was in part caused by the dissatisfaction many of the countries felt with their unfair treatment in the treaty. Unfortunately, this was not the war to end all wars.
I do not think the Treaty of Versailles was fair to Germany. They were not invited to Versailles to help create the treaty, they were just forced to sign it. Even though they did not agree with it, they had to sign it because the Allies were threatening invasion. The Germans were not strong enough to start the war again. Their land was given away, their army was reduced, and they were forced to pay thousands of dollars that they would not be able to pay. Even though I do not agree with the treaty, I believe that Germany should never be able to start a war again . I think the rules that limit Germany’s military are the most fair. I think the rule that gives Germany’s land away is the least fair since they have no way of defending it because they are not strong enough to fight for it.
World War one was brought to its official end with the signing of the Treaty of Versailles. It was drawn up by the victors of the war, which included Great Britain, the United States, Italy, and France. They met in Versailles to compose a treaty that would hopefully bring about a peaceful end to the First World War, the first war of its kind. Germany, the main foe against the Allied Powers, and the loser of World War I, was not allowed to partake in the creation of the treaty. Even

During the early 1920s, World War I had just ended, and many countries were not happy with the outcome. The Treaty of Versailles was a poor settlement to World War I, and left three particular countries unhappy; Germany, Italy, and Japan. The Treaty of Versailles left many limitations on Germany, and failed to give Italy and Japan the recognition they deserved. During the 1930s, these countries decided to take action, and fight for what they wanted. Though both appeasement and collective security were taken in response, collective security proved to be the more effective response to the aggression.…

The Allies had learned invaluable lessons from the obvious failure of the Treaty of Versailles. While reparations were still severe, the Allied Powers served as conquerors rather than disciplinarians, separating Germany into four military zones, they then stripped it of industry, dismantled the government, and instituted a democratic system. Militarily, the Allies rounded up all German military forces and rendered them inoperative until they could be disarmed. Maritime and aeronautical shipping were all but eliminated and outlined specific orders that would ensure continued control over the region. Another important provision made was the Nuremberg Trials, which allowed the Allied Powers to punish those directly responsible for the…

The main goal of the Treaty of Versailles was to keep peace. Georges Clemenceau from France was part of the Big 3 and he utterly despised Germany. He believed that if Germany was weakened and broken down into little pieces they could never start another war or threaten France again. He mainly wanted Germany to be severely punished and they were. A large section of the Treaty dealt with the punishment of Germany because many others believed in the thinking of Clemenceau. Another part of the Treaty dealt with the League of Nations. The League was set to enforce the Treaty along with improving the world. The League had achieved many of its goals, but by the 1930 's it wasn 't doing its original job. It is questionable that the Treaty of Versailles kept and provided real peace with the harsh punishments of Germany and the problems of the League of Nations.…

The treaty of Versailles is believed by historians to have angered the Germans but also left the big three unsatisfied at the outcome of the pact. Germany felt exceedingly cheated by the treaty. The Germans in the treaty had been blamed entirely for the war and had to pay compensation in the sum of 6, 600million pounds as well as limit there army to no more then 100,000 men to name a few . Through the treaty Germany had to lose much of its territory to its neighboring countries - as well as the demilitarization of the Rhineland to protect France.…

The Treaty of Versailles brought World War I to an end. It was signed on 28 June 1919 in Versailles. The main structure in the treaty was for Germany and her allies to accept the responsibility for causing all the “loss and damage" during the war. The clause of the treaty stated Germany as the antagonist in the war and therefore made Germany responsible for making amends to the Allied nations in payment for the losses and damage they had sustained in the war. The Treaty called for the formation of a League of Nations in which the promise of mutual security would avoid another major world war…

The Treaty of Versailles stripped Germany of its armed forces. It also made Germany pay war reparations to the allies. The Treaty of Versailles basically put the full blame on Germany for starting and corrupting World War I. As Germany signed the treaty, it formally ended World War I and was agreeing and understands that all the things, just mentioned, would happen. Also, after the end of World War I, the four empires, the Russian Empire, Ottoman Empire, The German Empire, and the Austria-Hungary Empire dissolved out of the Europe map. All for empires fell apart and was either split or renamed as a new country.…

When World War 1 ended, there was many casualties and damages throughout the four years. Most importantly, it left a doubt on who caused World War 1 and who was going to pay for the damages made. To settle this arguement there was a conference that united twenty seven countries and excluded 5 countries, Russia and the Central Power, called the Paris Peace Conference . The conference took place in Paris, France in June 28, 1919. In the conference, the Treaty of Versailles was created to end conflict between the Allied power and Germany. The Treaty of Versailles was not justified because the Allies blamed Germany for igniting the spark to the war and forced them to pay for all the damages that the war left.…

I agree that the Treaty of Versailles had some good points but there were more wrong than right. The main weaknesses of the Treaty were; it was a dictated piece that Germany was forced to sign the treaty Germany thought this was unfair as anyone would. The choice was either to sign the treaty or go back to war, which Germany could not afford to do. Germany was forced to admit guilt for the war although they didn't feel it was entirely their fault. The Germans had to agree to a clause in the treaty, which declared that Germany itself had been guilty of violence and held solitary responsibility for the war and its losses. Germany had to pay US $32 billion in reparations for the war and the treaty imposed Germanys military strict restrictions. It was limited to 100 000 men with no aircraft, tanks or heavy guns and the Rhine River between Germany, France and Belgium was occupied by Allied troops and was permanently demilitarized. The impact of the treaty and under the terms of the territorial settlement Germany lost 7 million German-speaking citizens and territory, some to Poland, some to Czechoslovakia. The Polish Corridor also divided Germany into two. Germany had lost 12.5 percent of her territory, all her foreign investments and most of her merchant fleet.…

The Treaty of Versailles was meant to ease tension over WWI but in my opinion it could have been responsible for starting WWII.
