Next, we ensured that we poured the milk to exactly half a cup, and added it to the growing concoction. Then, we scooped the soft, creamy peanut butter into the blender with the chopped up pieces of the banana and 2% milk. After that, we poured half a cup of frozen strawberries, and another half a cup of ice cubes into the blender. Finally, after all the ingredients were present, we blended the elements. Once the constituents were fused together, we poured our smoothie into the tall, crimson, food emoticon cup I had given her one day as a surprise, and tried to think of something to add as our little touch. After a while of thinking, we thought we should drizzle more peanut butter on top of the other mixed ingredients. Since the peanut butter we had wasn’t fluid enough, we stuck the peanut butter in a glass cup in the microwave for about thirty seconds. The second it was finished, we trickled the peanut butter onto our smoothie.
Lastly, we stood in gratification at our work of art. Sarah grabbed two straws, as we walked into the living room to try our new creation. We glanced over into each other's fear-filled eyes, braced ourselves, drank a huge gulp of the smoothie, and were surprised by the result. Our smoothie was fruity, sweet, and sticky all in one.
