If I would to be a Hollywood producer and if I remade this for a 21st century speaker, I would use a celebrity person named Miranda Crosgrow cast as a speaker, and I would set the scene in San Diego, California. The reason why I would put it in San Diego, California, is because it is very nice there and there is a lot of people to be found there that can be useful for a lot of things. There are Celebrities there as well. It is just a good city overall since it’s in California anyways, where there is good weather, a good scenery is always good. The “Seven Ages of Man,” by William Shakespeare’s play I think that Miranda Crosgrow would be good as the speaker and I could compare her to this act of William Shakespeare’s scene. Miranda Crowgrow played…
Ms. Bigby was questioned if she had any prior claims she may have filed for any other losses. Ms. Bigby went on to say that she did not recall as she had discussed this information with her adjuster in this case. As the investigator attempted to refresh her memory by asking if the claim was through Travelers Insurance, Ms. Bigby stated that she does not believe that she had to disclose this information to this investigator and thought that this interview was about her current claim. She then proceeded to say that that the complaint occurred approximately six months ago when she was using a rental car when it was broken into. She argued that many items were stolen from within the car and could not provide any details of the articles taken and the amount of the loss that included where and when the theft occurred. She said she did not have that information, and the Pasadena Police Department took a police report.…

Despite the conflicting public opinion, Chris McCandless succeeded in his goal to survive in the wilderness and taught the world valuable lessons in the process. Chris McCandless “probably died on August 18th, 112 days after he had walked into the wild.” (119, Krakauer) He survived with very little gear and food, even though he was essentially cut off from the world. To have lived for a little over three months totally self-sufficient is impressive. Chris’s goal was to be independent and live off the land for a while. In his mindset, he achieved in his goal. Wayne Westerberg had employed Chris for two short amounts of time, but said “He was the type of person who insisted on living out his beliefs.” (Krakauer, 67) This was why Chris was determined to go to Alaska, instead of listening to the protests of others.…
I realize that it is opposite of the manner in which this school had begun, but it seems as though we have little choice. We already have a faculty unit that is looking to form a union due to the budget crisis, we should probably consider coming back to them with a better long-term plan in place.…
Filmed in 2009, after a hiatus from the standup comedy world, for comedic acting, Aisha finally returned to the comedy stage. Performing in her hometown of San Francisco, live, Aisha created the hit, “Aisha Tyler: Is Lit: Live at the Fillmore”. Touching on trivial things like the pain from a bikini wax, the absurdity of large breast implants, gaming, online porn, and sexual positions. However, within the jokes Tyler does hit on some pretty large points such as African American stereotypes, and suppressed female sexuality.…

When Danielle was in 1st grade, her elementary school chose a new method of teaching students how to read. Instead of the word “vase” being written on a flashcard, they wanted students to know what kind of A it was by writing “vās.” To her parents, it didn’t make sense. How would she would learn to spell if they spent the first two years of her education teaching her words spelled phonetically? As a result, her parents chose to homeschool. Because home schooling was so uncommon, the school didn’t know how to formally un-enroll her. After 60 days, they started getting voicemails about their truant daughter and paperwork declared that she was a 2nd grade drop-out!…
Throughout the world it has become an issue that celebrity stars cannot have full freedom. Many tragedies, car accidents have happened and harm our community just because one decided to stalk another. Many of the audience does not realize this and reality of paparazzi. Sean Burke a papparazzi reform initiative writes personal experience from the issue. He argues that Paparazzi are all about the money, stalking biggest stars, breaking rules, becoming danger to public safety, and a cause of death. Gabe Rottman a representative of American Civil liberties union argues that constitution prtotects everyones's rights. To burke he views this limitation differently. Sean Burkes believes that there should be a limit to paparazi.…
Throughout the years celebrities have experienced the harsh ridicule from invasive paparazzi and media. These camera men and women snap pictures and videos of celebrities in their worst moments. What the media doesn’t tell people is that this does not only invade one’s privacy, but also can deal with one’s mental and physical health; pictures can be deceptive and tell lies.…
A prime example of this is the paparazzi. Our obsession with celebrities is growing by the day, but have you ever wondered who the paparazzi are? How celebrity’s personal moments get immortalized in gossip magazines? The desire to feed the hunger for celebrity news is driving overly aggressive paparazzi tactics; the paparazzi pursuit causes danger to the celebrity, to the paparazzi and, let's not forget, the public. From incidents regarding Princess Diana and Britney Spears, too many people are happy to hate the paparazzi but don't see a problem buying magazines filled with their pictures.…
What is the best solution to a more successful future? This question is in the minds of many students and parents. In my opinion, I think that attending a public school is a better solution than attending a private school. This choice is affected greatly by the overall performance, capabilities of the student and the financial budget of the parent. There are advantages and disadvantages of both private and public schools.…
As of November 20, 2014, same –sex marriage has been legalized in 35 out of 50 U.S. states. Same-sex marriage is a hot topic which the Supreme Court is considering to legalize. Many people say a homosexual person is a sinner. The question is do homosexual people choose his or her gender? They were born that way and they are happy with their lives. Homosexual people are nothing unlike heterosexual people. They are living, they are working, and they contribute to society. Proponents state that same-sex couples should have access to the same marriage benefits and public acknowledgment enjoyed by heterosexual couples and that prohibiting gay marriage is unconstitutional discrimination. On the other side, opponents argue that altering the traditional definition of marriage as between a man and a woman will further weaken a threatened institution and that legalizing gay marriage is a slippery downhill way that may lead to polygamous and interspecies marriages (gaymarriage.procon.org). All people in the world should understand the meaning of marriage, whether a same-sex marriage or a traditional marriage. For that reason, same-sex marriage should be considered as a legal marriage because it is an equal right for humankind and beneficial for society as well as preventing youth suicide.…
In America there are so many people who live without healthcare. President Obama has tried hard to change that known fact by introducing and passing his new Obama Care Act. It is very important for people to have proper healthcare coverage, medical care, affordable medications, and for all healthcare services to be available to everyone, whether they are poor, middle class or rich. For most Americans, high quality care generally is readily accessible without long waits but at high cost. However, the uninsured and, increasingly, the underinsured, the poor, and members of underserved minorities often have poor access to health care and poor health outcomes. The health workforce is well trained, yet the United States faces a severe shortage of primary care physicians. Approximately 45% of the U.S. population has a chronic medical condition, and about 60 million people, half of these, have multiple chronic conditions; the CDC estimated these numbers during a recent survey.…
The social media nowadays are booming with countless news on celebrities. Countless celebrity gossips of who is currently dating who, what they did when they had gotten drunk, which celebrity was arrested and even which starlet has ruined whose relationship (Ortiz n.d.). The gossips on celebrities from media are endless. So who are these celebrities and why are they making headlines so much and invading our new feeds? Well, celebrities are also known as public figures and they are idolized by the general public (Duarte 2014). Be it for the good or for the bad reasons for gaining fame, if the public finds interest in a person from their singing, dancing, acting or even down to the silliest things they do, that person gets well-known, then the news will start to spread and the paparazzi which are the media will come along and that person will start to become more and more well-known. That person automatically becomes a celebrity (Duarte 2014). For years now, newspapers are known for having a reputation on exclusive celebrity news that involves the private lives of celebrities (Hassan 2011). The most common problem encountered by celebrities is the invasion of their privacy. This problem has been around for quite a while with numerous debates on whether these celebrities should or should not be entitled to privacy. Celebrities often press charges against newspapers or the paparazzi in order to prevent them from publishing and revealing any possible misjudgements (Hassan 2011) and yet, the relationship between the two, celebrities and the media are in such that it is perhaps that one cannot at all exist or survive without the other (Hassan 2011). Yes, celebrities are people too but are they entitled to privacy and have the right to have a private life? Although celebrities should have a right to a private life, as celebrities and public figures are also people therefore entitled to some space of privacy in their lives, it is more accurate to say that…
