Every Friday morning some of the pupils in my class will be going swimming where as the other pupils will be going to the café to cook something healthy for them to take home at the end of the day. All the pupils that will be cooking will have to bring £1.50 to school so that they will be able to cook with the teacher, once the pupils has paid for their cooking then each one will go shopping with a member of staff to get the ingredients for what they are going to cook. Once all the pupils is back from shopping in asda and the member of staff is back with them as well all the p-pupils that does cooking will go to the café and wait for the cooking teacher to come and tell them what they will be cooking. When the teachers arrives to the café he then will tell the pupils that they need to put an apron on and then they will need to wash their hands. Once the children has washed their hands and has an apron on then the cooking teacher will tell them what they will be cooking which will be a healthy lasagne. The teacher then will give all the children a job to do like some of the children will be opening tins of tomatoes, where as the other children will be cutting up the onions and the garlic and also they will be grating the cheese. Once everything has been cut up then the cooking teacher will start to cook the mince with the children looking at what he is doing and standing way back as well. Once the mince is cook the cooking teacher will ask the children to get the things that they have cut up and put it in with the mince and let it cook. Once everything has cooked the teacher then will get a tray and ask each of the children to put a pit of the meat in a tray, once each child has done this then the cooking teacher will put it in the oven and let it cook for a bit, and the children will go back to class and do some work on what they have done.
The teachers role in this routine is to make sure that there is enough ingredients to make the lasagne,
