The first law I want to cover is the law about nurses. No person or corporation shall require any white female nurse to nurse in wards or rooms in hospital, either public or private, in which negro men are placed. Alabama (Jim Crow Laws) This law explains that nurses will not be required to help any African-American meaning that white nurses can choose whether to help an African-American that is in help or she could simply leave the poor African person alone. I feel that it is unfair how that white nurses are required to help the white people who are in need rather than having to help an African because it seems that helped in the Jim Crow era seemed to be judged by race which is not the case in the present era. Jim Crow law state that white people and Negro people were not allowed to learn in the same building, neither to have the same level of knowledge that they can have.
