Jimmy's Monologue
That’s just great. My niece decided to leave her children here. I don't remember seeing a sign in front of my house designating it as a daycare center. It's not a place where you drop your children off on date night. I'm not a free babysitter. I am a grown man and I am getting tired of this. Therefore, I'm going to tell you all a story about me. One that I hope you tell your parents. Maybe then they'll stop dropping you off here and my future will have fewer interruptions. I rather be watching baseball god dammit.
Once upon a there was a man who hated clowns. That man was me. They were the vilest creatures on earth. My fight with them began at the circus when I was just a little boy. I was eight and it was during the summer of 3015.
That's how old you are Jimmy. That's when horrible things started happening in my life. Maybe you'll experience the same. Maybe after a lot of pain and suffering you’ll understand why I rather be left alone.
My childhood wasn’t all that bad. In fact, it was great, up until my parents, Milinda and Steve Walker, took me to see the circus. It was in Tennessee and it was a hot night in August. They felt like it would broaden my horizons because I had never been to one before. It was a blast to see the

This clown showed up at a Paralympic event in a semi-truck and smashed an entire wheelchair race. That clown I beat to death with a baseball bat. In another case I even had to deal with a clown dentist. That was perhaps one of the most grotesque cases I ever got involved with. Its patients did not even know it was a clown. This was because it wore a mask over its big red nose. When it came time to floss it would end up strangling them with piano wires. When I caught up with it the beast was wearing a necklace of teeth. It didn't bother to remove the bloody roots. Damn thing stabbed me in the arm with a dental pick and I nearly died from

The bitter night Avah was killed the whole town was out celebrating. The Spring Festival was an annual affair and only the most isolated of persons would have not been there. It was a festival meticulously planned out by those intrigued in such matters and each detail was carried out to exact perfection. The Humphrey family would perform a skit each year at exactly six-thirty, the mayor would grace the audience with a well-planned speech at six-forty-five. At seven o’clock the potluck dessert would be brought out by the women and then once a half hour had passed, enough time for the people to converse with each other, the festival games would begin.…

I can still remember the times when I was just a young boy. I grew up in the rural part of town on our family's ranch. Most knew where my family resided, as we set up our establishment and named it the Double G Ranch. Amongst my family, included a vast variety of animals. We had everything from racing horses to bulls and even a mean rooster that startled everyone on the farm except for my mother. Friends and close relatives would often visit to participate in trail rides, social gatherings, and other outdoor activities. My family's ranch became not only everyone else around us the favorite place to hang out, but also a place where I created memories. I can honestly say that my childhood consisted of numerous adventures that fulfilled my enjoyment.…

This dojo, which smelled of sweat that would make people pinch their noses and curse out loud before they even reach the door is a familiar sight to me. But the sound wasn't right. Every Friday night before the day of Halloween a high pitched laugh is heard through the emptiness of the park. It is Dexter, who lives in an old abandoned merry go round down by the park. As a matter of fact, he does not come out during the day. Dexter has dark hollow eyes, with blood streaming down his right side of his face. He has black and rotted teeth that can bite through cans. He has short spiky red hair. His hands are different from other clowns. He has needle for hands, who walks barefoot everywhere. He is not covered up completely. He has handcuffs on from getting out of an insane asylum. If the children hear Dexter, they are horrified of him. Also, he sends shivers down your spine and makes your hair stand up. If the children stay out late at night, Dexter traps them. He locks them up in a cage that replaces their eyes with buttons. He boils the eyes with thick drained blood from the forest animals he finds.…

This column is entitled “The psychology behind why clowns creep us out” and was written by Frank T. McAndrew of The Conversation. This article talks about the recent sightings of scary clowns in different states as well as the logic supporting why most children and adults are afraid of clowns. There is just something about a person dressed in oversized clothing, painted face and a colored wig that creeps out people. Just recently there has been reports that these clowns have “tried to lure women and children into the woods, chase people with knives and machetes and yelled at people from cars” (McAndrew, 2016). The scariest reports claim clowns have been spooking people in the middle of the night by appearing on the side of an unlit street.…

And I will win. My parents have not shown up at any of my previous birthdays. My dad came close to missing my birth. It makes me really mad that they feel that their job is more important than my life. Since I was three, I have gone through about thirty babysitters and nannies because I keep trying to get them to answer for my parents. I have always wanted to be an orphan. You are lucky Mateo, your family loves you. My parents go everywhere together, but they never go anywhere with me. Usually when they are in town, it is to get their new assignment, to give me the stuff that they had brought back for me (which I don’t mind as much because it shows that they care about what I like), and to do laundry and to repack their bags. I bet that if they could, they would send me off to an orphanage across the world so that they can just live their lives and not have to pay for nannies and babysitters for…

I went upstairs to go use the bathroom but there was this door. It was halfway open and I got really curious. I peeked inside and it was just a normal bedroom but in the corner, there was a statue. A very creepy clown statue. It’s eyes were truly terrifying. I felt as if they were staring at me. I left immediately and closed the door because I could not stare at it any longer. I went straight to the bathroom and tried not to think about it.…

Sadly, abuse has been documented numerous times in multiple shows and in specific cases. National Geographic looks at abuse elephants face in the circus in an article, Elephant Abuse Charges Add Fuel to Circus Debate written by Maryann Mott. A point discussed is making elephants who can weigh as much as 8,000 pounds perform tricks, in particular headstands. The trainers will be cruel and break the animals physically and emotionally in order to bend their will. Additionally, the strain of being on the road can be detrimental and takes away from their quality of life. They can be on the show for up to 50 weeks a year and are transported in trailers for as long as days at a time. This lifestyle is not compatible with their needs which are better suited for the wild. Elephants are social animals who migrate during their lifetime (Mott 2). In 2011 Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus agreed to pay a $270,000 fine after facing charges from the USDA, the United States…
