I always got told to age out of the system and never have a real family because no one would ever love me.
I never talked back to a adult I've always been scared because when I was little after my dad died, my mom got married to my step dad Doug. He was not the best person in the world, I would ask a simple question and he would get mad, then I would talk back and sometimes I would get a plate thrown at my head. Ever since then I've never talked back to anyone except my sister. And that's why me and my sister moved out and got placed in the foster care system. My second foster home the ladies that took care of us told my sister and I that they knew our parents. So we always felt like we were meant to be there after three years we found out from a foster care worker that we were not supposed to be in that home and they actually weren't foster parents or licensed. So after that incident we went to an actual foster home and she never actually cared what we did.
