The two job position I compared from the episode and perform a job analysis of each position, the “Undercover Boss” comparing two positions from the Norwegian Cruise Line episode, there are crew staff and recreation staff. In cooperation positions are significant for the positive organization of the ship. Visitors look forward to having amusement functions to be there as well as be able to attend diverse social activities. The assistance these spots make to the general running of the cruise ship is invaluable. Cruise staff is accountable for the amusement and social activities on the ship. The ships strategize over 100 activities on a weekly basis, for example like karaoke, and line dancing (www.ncl.com). It’s the liability of the ship staff to cooperate and make constructive associations with the guests. Cruise staff situation is entry-level social spot, for a passionate gregarious person, someone who likes spending lots of time intermingling with guest. Concurrence to Job Descriptions, Cruise staff must be self inspired, vigorous, and accommodating. Have eminent customer service skills and tremendous communication ability, and must be keen to travel. Endowment in art or amusement and a high school diploma required. The recreation staff arrange several recreational activity promoted by the cruise line. If the guests want to rock climb, or ice skate, or surf a wave and the ship has that activity than they can partake in it. Various activities may be a little more time intense than other, for instance prior to rock climbing guests have to fill out a liability credential ahead of time and this can be a extensive procedure (www.ncl.com).
