Jordan Monologue
Jordan's POV:
When I woke up and saw the sunrise, I thought it was the most beautiful thing in the world. And then I saw another man. It scared me; I thought I was alone; alone with my thoughts and the voice that spoke to me. It was a female voice; it was sweet and silky, like butterscotch. She was comforting me, and trying to get me to wake up. I don't know whose voice it was; I had never heard another voice other than my own. I lived alone in Jerry's tree, just Jerry and me.
When I was talking to Tom, she was silent, but as soon as Dec was talking she was warning me and begging me to be quiet. She kept calling me her silent hero, that I was brave. How could I not listen to the voice? I knew it wasn't a trap or anything, something told me

My first day here, and I would have to drive around in a wheel chair. My heart dropped when Dec told me, he told me it was too bad to walk on. When Dec wheeled me out, Tom was waiting. His eyes widened, I could see the sympathy in them.
"Oh check it out!" A new voice said, it was british just like Tom's and Dec's, "New kid's got wheels. What'd you do newbie? Lose a fight? I think it was more like you tripped and fell." A couple people laughed behind him, him being the owner of the voice, I recognized none of them.
Something inside me snapped, I wanted to pound these people to the ground. The voice stopped me, "Don't do it."
"If I wasn't in this I would beat you up so hard you would need one too." They all snickered; they were urging me on. "What's stopping you? Surely if you can beat us all up, a wheelchair isn't going to stop

I started to get up, when I put pressure on my foot it killed like hell, but something in me wanted to beat this guy up so much that I ignored it. "You're making a mistake!"
Shut up. I was walking over to the guy when someone pushed me down; I looked up to see Tom standing over me. The other three guys were laughing so hard that one of them was on their knees. Tom had a serious look on his face, it hurt me even more to see him like this. I didn't know he had this side.
"Jordan, do not touch Josh, it's not worth it. Just stay on the ground where you belong." He turned and walked over to Josh, I assumed Josh was the one who was making fun of me. The voice spoke up, "I told you so."
To be betrayed by someone you thought you trusted, it hurt even more than a broken foot. I tried to stand back up and get back in the wheelchair when the voice changed its mind, "I will only attack when attacked."
I turned around and kneed Tom in the balls, he cringed and fell over. One of the guys behind Josh moved towards me, he was the shortest of the three, and I punched him in the face. He fell back, but swung at me blindly. I quickly dodged but he kicked my shin and I fell to my knees. When I tried to stand back up he stomped on my bad

I slowly removed the blade from the man's neck revealing that I had nipped him. There was no way I could escape from a squad of at least 20 people. Sitting there waiting, I was filling water balloons, waiting for Jeff or someone to return for a second time. When I saw him, I sprang up, jumped down from the sink, and alerted all my friends. We were looking from the eyehole on the door as he came up. We soaked him, and he was with dripping water from the corners of his clothes. He ran away yelling, " I'm gonna get you!" We slammed the door and went back inside, moving all the bed mattresses to the living room so we could sit and talk with blankets so we could stay warm. The room filled with laughter when someone said, "Did you see the look on his face?" or " He got it bad." Everyone was giggling and we chatted for about an hour and decided to go to sleep, because it seemed as though the boys weren't coming back.…
