I would try to copy their outfits and try to sing every one of their songs. Now that I am older, I know what each member of the group truly is. Raven-Symone is now a lesbian. Adrienne Bailon dated a member of the wild Kardashian family. Sabrina Bryan is a cast member of the show Dancing with the Stars. On this television show, Bryan wears provocative dance costumes and dances questionable dances. The last member of the group, Kiely Williams, is a singer that produces naughty music videos. This group of girls, now separated from the idolized group, each has different body images they express. Each body image is giving off a sense that they do not care and do not want to be an idol for anyone …show more content…

He noticed in the north that people tend to express themselves differently than in any of the other regions. He saw that with the clothes that the people wore mimicked the fashion trends going on in Hollywood. Smith saw that the people really did not care what the clothes looked like on them as long as it was what is popular in Hollywood. Also in the north, Smith saw Free the Nipple movement going on. Although femininity is defined by popular culture, fashion is marketed in makeover films as a method through which women can achieve success interpersonally, romantically, and professionally (Ferriss, 2008, p. 42). Upon impressing Miranda with her new look Andy gets invited to Paris fashion week by Miranda which symbolizes Andy’s acceptance into the fashion industry upon conforming to societal constructs of femininity. This professional opportunity extended to Andy correlates with the notion that to advance professionally women must conform society’s definition of femininity framed by popular film. Characters like Andy Sachs give millennial age women the idea that hard work and self-motivation when coupled with an appropriate display femininity for a given professional environment will bring about professional success. Makeover films essentially assert that being to be considered intelligent and competent a woman must conform to society’s definition of feminine beauty to be taken seriously in the workplace. This cultural obsession with feminine appearance feeds the “makeover movie” narrative and has contributed to its rise as a sub-genre of chick…

In the 1920’s when women were first classified as “flappers”, the society surrounding them had a very negative reaction to the girl’s outburst of rebellion and the want of independence. In the 1920’s, because it was all new to them, the society was baffled by the sudden change in behavior from the women and young girls. Now of course not all of the new behavior is bad, it’s good for the women to try to expand their talents with the new activities such as sports and job occupations. But modern society is sadly used to and has accepted the type of rebellion and behavior from women and young girls that the people of the 1920’s tried to reject. Many girls now have parents that don’t are so blind to the fact of what they are doing that they try even harder to be recognize by parents and peers. And even though when the economy crashed and the Great Depression limited the amount of rebellion that could take place, the taste of freedom that the women got then was never given up and that feeling of freedom is what has stayed with the women of modern America…

therefore hearing this celebrity exposing her “new” gender sexuality resulted as a fabricated lie, a simple way to grab even more attention from viewers. However with more research I learned that it is in fact an existing concept but not well known. Miley Cyrus way manner to portray herself on media is perceived as innovative and “cooly” admirable for some people, yet it looks very fraudulent and just a show in my opinion. The way she expose her nude body like a normal issue bothers me for the fact that our body is sacred to ourselves and we have to love and respect ourselves before anything else, but she just uses it to publicity and the creation for many more scandals that can give her more attention and relevance around the world. Celebrities like Miley Cyrus have the idea of women revolution as a frequen easy way to gain more fans by taking their body exposure to another level where nothing is in the imagination…

One of the main reasons why I believe Justin Bieber should be placed in room 101 and forgotten about is quite simply his irritating looks. We see it everywhere – on the TV, on album cover staring us in the face on shop shelves, and in glossy magazines and newspapers. You don’t really want to stare at a zit-ridden, large lipped teenager with an up-riding quiff which nearly makes jedward’s hair look normal do you? Professor Smith once stated that teenagers with zits and large quiffs, as well as bushy eye-brows, are one of the most aesthetically unappealing types of teenagers to look at. This certainly applies to this…

Have you heard any repetitive and wordy songs? Yes, I am talking about rap music, the most popular type of music at present, and the most annoying type of music that I think. For example, the vocabulary in this song that has obviously taken from another, as well as the meaning of it has no substantial difference in between, which it is always about the luxurious stuff, such as money, villas, cars, apparel, or the relationship, and women.…
