Kappa Kappa Gamma Fraternity is a ________ organization based in Columbus, Ohio. Leadership Consultants are employees of the Fraternity and part of the Chapter Services Department. Leadership Consultants are a critical part of our staff and serve as a link to the Fraternity as a whole. They provide advice, support and resources to chapters and advisers. A consultant may visit as many as 30 chapters during an academic year.
Candidates must be in good standing with the Fraternity and exhibit strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills as well as dynamic presentation and facilitation skills. This position provides unique opportunities and experience in personal accountability, verbal and written communication, conversational skills, presentation and facilitation skills, and time management.
Past Leadership Consultants have gone on to professional school, graduate school or full-time employment in fields such as education, business, nursing, human resources, marketing and communications, law, and medicine.
Kappa Kappa Gamma recognizes that the Leadership Consultant position is only for one year. A Leadership Consultant’s success after she has traveled is a reflection of this program and one we take seriously. We encourage and enable consultants to take placement exams, schedule interviews and attend orientation weekends as needed during their year of travel.
