Thank you for sharing your story which included your son, I enjoyed reading your post.
Realization that we want to raise our child differently from the way we have been raised is an experience that I am familiar with. A unified plan is a good place to start beginning with communication with our spouse to help structure attainment of goals. The second point of development is acknowledgment of realizing milestone attainment. I would set some realistic goals and share with my family the excitement and value of obtaining goals then practice celebrating within reason. Reinforcement of successful parenting and sharing in the reward of good work will set your family up for success.
Mirror preparation to help
build confidence is a great topic to influence growth, with future clients. The technique of rehearsal is one that I too have used to prepare for presentations and talking in front of groups. Influence and mentorship that you experienced helped you stay grounded for choosing a health and productive education. Combinations of confidence building exercises will reinforce good habits and motivate strategies to keep clients on the right track. Your experience will help you be successful with younger demography of clients. I admire your desire to work with students, and your realization that you struggled with a time in your life, and how you can engage and influence persons who were once in your shoes.
