Keirsey's Temperament Sorter Assessment
There are sixteen personality types and the basic ones revolve around four temperaments NT – Intuitive-Thinking -Visionaries, NF – Intuitive-Feeling - Catalysts, SJ – Sensing-judging– Trouble-shouters/Negotiators, SF- Sensing-Feeling - Traditionalists/Stabilizers. My type is: NF – Intuitive-Feeling - Catalysts NF – INTUITIVE-FEELING - CATALYSTS The Keirsey’s Temperament Sorter assessment was an eye opener for me. That revealed more about myself, and helped me realize how to adjust, understand and work with other types.
The catalysts are people with integrity, identity and self-actualization.
 Integrity – Catalysts maintains a high standard of ethical they uphold themselves and others to a strict level of personal integrity.

According to the Keirsey’s temperament assessment we (NF) are driven by a strong belief in a cause and productive in things that are relevant in world. Catalysts are viewed as idealists who tend to take on a multitude of diverse issues that are personally resonate to them. One strength for Catalysts is... the ability to union others by working effectively and harmoniously to achieve organizational goal. Catalysts can be quite persuasive and articulate their needs, desires and outlook directly with others. They have a capacity to work with people and bring out the best out of people. They plan for the future and focus on the solution rather than the problem. Catalysts are very empathetic and it essential to be in harmony with themselves, others and the environment.
On the other hand, Catalysts can be quite sensitive and take criticism personally. They are mostly focus on the individual rather than the *organization* goals. One of my greatest hobbies is centered on self-growth and awareness. For this I find reading books and magazines related to people, population, culture, ethno-sociology and history essential for my growth and understanding. I also, enjoy attending a wide variety of exhibits and watching documentaries related to my interest. The Keirsey’s temperament assessment has help me realize that engaging in those things above is one of the main components of my type. My quest for identity was incorporated into my Personal Mission Statement by including, opportunities in getting to learning and knowing myself better through daily meditations, reflected practices and spiritual growth.
