A failure to understand one’s temperament could result in being employed in a job that is not seen as satisfying or generally a miscommunication with employees and employers. Personally, I would implore anyone who stumbles upon this paper to take a few minutes out of their day and take the Jung Typology Test not only does this quiz help find one’s passion but actually mirrors most people’s strengths accurately. Upon reading this paper the reader will not only have a greater understanding of my personality but jobs that most people who perceive the world the way I do would excel in as well. Very rarely so we take stock in our own well-being in the workplace and even less time is spent on determining if our personalities fit within the expected model of behavior that is expected at the organization for which we are part of. Occasionally it is good to sit back and look at oneself and determine what your personality traits are and if they coincide with your goals. According to Wan Ismail and Awadh (2011), personality can be a determining factor in one’s job performance. Further research has shown that personality differentiates one person from another (Beer & Brooks, 2011) and that personality traits remain steady and stable through ones work life (Myers, 1998). Being able to understand your own personality traits is important to unlocking your own job satisfaction needs and leadership and management abilities.…

My Authentic Happiness Inventory score is 3.92. My Myers-Briggs Personality Test type is ESTJ. I am more of extrovert rather than introvert. I believe more in logical sense rather than going for the intuition. I focus more on thinking rather than giving importance to feeling on something. And, I analyze facts and rely on judgment rather than perceiving on something on a direct basis. Hence, I can be an efficient administrator. I am more in touch with the external environment. After completing the Jung Typology test, I found that my personality type is INTJ (Introvert, Intuitive, Thinking, Judging). Each letter has a meaning and a certain percentage that is assigned in regards to the relativeness of each aspect of the personality. In addition to the four-letter type, each personality type is assigned a two-letter temperament. Each of these letters in combination has a meaning that is accociated with certain manners of behavior and tendancies. From the “Worldview Perspective on Organizational Behavior” presentation, the idea of a biblical worldview and how it relates to our organizational behavior and our personalities is defined. Lastly, Kroeger and Thuesen’s book, Type Talk at Work, explores the 16 personality…

I am considered a Type A personality according to the assessment. I generally am annoided when I see people waisting my time or theirs. For example, waiting to see a physician past 45 minutes tends to really initate me. I feel as if my time is not respected. I also hate to see my children waste time, for example, my 14 year old tends to walk in cirles, I often ask her what are you doing. She is certainly has very little respect for time. Morning are the worst as much as I try to plan she is always looking for something in the morning. I am also task oriented, which places me in the Type A personalibty group. I start each day with a list, when that day is complete I review the list to determine how successful the day was and set goals…

As I look up things about my personality type I find that it suits me very well. I am similar to ISTP types because I like to pull things apart and try to put them back together. As I read through thing I find that ISTP type like to change things u a lot when they are working or they will get bored. I have the same problem unless the task changes every time that I do it then there is no point in doing it. I don't think that my career path that I started on was the best choice for me. I hope that the work space in the accounting work can keep me interested, so I don't lose interest. My personality type kind of explains what happen to me at subway. A personality type assessment was done to determine in which of the 16 personality types I fell in to. Based on my individual preferences I was given a four letter personality type, as well as a two letter temperament. Throughout this paper I will explain what those letters are and how they explain certain traits of my personality. Not only how they describe me as an individual, but how they manifest in my work environment and my relationships with others. Also, to understand why I am so passionate about one topic and can be so disconnected from another at the same time. I was able to understand why there were certain careers that I leaned towards and how that also ties in with my personality type. This was a great tool to assess my strengths and how I can use them to their full potential, but also for me to be familiar with my weaknesses and what I can do so they do not get the best of me.…

Each person is characterized by certain habits, characteristics and features they have inherited or were acquired due to events in their lives. These factors determine the personality profile of a certain person and each different personality will have a certain impact in an organization or more specifically in a group. In this report my own personality profile will be presented by the results of a questionnaire, this questionnaire is a device used to give an indication of the big five factors: openness, conscientiousness, extraversion agreeableness and neuroticism which will all together describe my personality profile. These results will be thoroughly compared with context of existing scientific literature which will then determine my own personal profile. Firstly the results of my questionnaire will be discussed by comparing them with the existing personality profiles, followed by an observation of the affects my personality would have in a group. Lastly, I will discuss the key strengths and/or weaknesses of my personality with current literature in this scientific field and will then conclude all observations.…
