So in the movie “American Gangster” memory played a very important role to the character Frank Lucas. One memory that he refers to is when he was 5 years old and his 12-year-old cousin got pulled out of the house and tied up to a tree in North Carolina by the police. They then shoved a shotgun in his cousin’s mouth hard enough to break 2 teeth, and then the police shot him in the head. I think this memory was a very strong start to his distrust and disdain towards the police. Another memory of his was a good memory. To please his mother he had her room recreated from his memory from when he was 5. In so much detail as to have furniture special made to exact details including drapes and blankets and design. Obviously this was a strong enough memory that he could recall all the details. He also used memory in his business practices. He remembered who still owed money to Bumpy his now deceased boss…
The case of my client, Patricia Stallings, is one with great controversy. We have opened her case again because of substantial evidence of her innocence. I believe that my client is innocent of the charges the court has wrongly fully accused her of. True, at the beginning of the case it seemed like a classic case of an abusive mother poisoning her own child; however with the birth of her 2nd child, David Jr., important new evidence was discovered. He suffered from the same symptoms that Ryan had suffered. But how could David Jr. be poisoned when his mother was behind bars? More testing was done on Ryan’s blood and many laboratories have found strong evidence in the possibility of…

Recently, an interesting case of murder involving a young married woman was unravelled by the crime scene team. Individuals break crimes all the time but some cases take America by storm with the mass amount of media coverage. The Scott Peterson trail is a prime example of a criminal case that took the nation by storm. What makes the Scott Peterson trail special is the fact that for the first time in California an individual was sentenced to death based solely on circumstantial evidence. In this paper I will be discussing the Scott Peterson case in three key areas background/summary, evidence, and finally crime elements.…
