Khaadi started as a modest venture out of a small room with a few weavers and only five handlooms, Khaadi has now grown into a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility with teams of experienced weavers and skilled artisans working together to create a wide array of colorful products.
Just over a decade old, Khaadi’s steady rise into the collective mindshare of countless loyal consumers is the outcome of resolute belief in product innovation and stringent quality control.
Concept
A brand that has intricately woven itself into all aspects of life for thousands of consumers, it’s no surprise that the Persian word “Khaadi” literally means ‘hand woven’.
Hand woven fabric has long been an intrinsic part of the rich tapestry of life in the East. However, with changing times, the art of weaving, like many others, was slowly dying. When Khaadi opened its doors in 1998, it was with the magnanimous intent of reviving the ancient craft of the handloom and popularizing the traditional medium in a contemporary manner.
