Simmons and a friend tied the victim up with duct tape and drove her to a nearby state park. At the park, Simmons pushed the victim, who was still alive, off of a bridge and into the Meramec River where she drowned. Simmons was 17 years old at the time of the murder. Before the crime, he had told several of his friends of the plan to burglarize a home and kill the occupants, noting that they could do it and “get away with it” (not get charged for it) because they were juveniles. 1…

I believe the Great Game of Life should be implemented. The company appeared to have some serious issues, and were inundated by its culture of autocracy where there seemed to be no sense of unit culpability. In fact, it appeared that none of the 18 units in Simmons were unified and even in times of calamity the units were never willing to lend a helping hand to each other. Now, combine the internal problems with the co-workers and the financial situation where Simmons lost three of its best and most lucrative clients, along with the inventory loss because of meager quality foam, it was essential to reclaim the organization by introducing some inspiring team life between the Simmons employees.…

This industry has the opportunity to sell overseas in other countries as well as within the United States. Being able to open a multi channel approach for consumers to purchase these items online makes it easier to reach a wider range of consumers around the world and increase sales. Entry into this industry is not easily done. A new entrant would need to be well known and be labeled as a luxury designer. Many customers in this category are brand loyal, meaning that a new company might have trouble gaining their own customer base. Coach Inc. controls approximately 25 percent of the women’s handbag and accessories market in 2006, which is a large amount for one specific company to hold. Companies in this industry use feedback to see what is the hottest and newest fashion trends out there so that they can keep their product line “fresh” and meets the needs and wants of their customers. This is the reason that Sara Lee, hired Lew Frankfort to head the handbag division. Frankfort’s first decision was to hire Reed Krakoff, a…

Rios (2011) establishes the phrase “Youth Control Complex” which he defines as “ a system in which schools, police, probation officers, families, community centers, the media, and other systems treat young people’s everyday behaviors as criminal activity” (XIV). The reality of these young men is that, all their societal systems are failing them. Teachers don’t care about teaching students, the criminal justice system is only waiting on them to walk the streets or seem “suspicious” for them to get arrested, friends “act bad” to gain respect amongst each other…
