Duncan, the king of Scotland, was a king with great character, brave, kind, and a man of honor. He was a great man and is cut out to be a king. King Duncan lead his kingdom with fairness and righteousness. He holds the characters of what a christian should look like.
Duncan was a brave king. This book doesn't hold much about Duncan because Macbeth ends up killing Duncan, but from everything I gather from the beginning of the book, he is a brave person. He is a good king, and we all know, every good king is brave. He was probably fearless, not afraid to fight for his kingdom. A king wouldn't give up on his people.
He was a very kind person. There are two different kinds of kings. There are the kings that are over
ruling, mean, selfish. There is also those kings that love his people, kind, loving. Duncan was one of those kings. He loved his people. He complemented Banquo, saying his was full so valiant. He treated his soldiers and people with kindness.
Nevertheless, he was a man of honor. Everyone knew that as a good king, you must have honor. King Duncan was an amazing king. Everyone loved him. A lot of people were after his power but no one would be as good of a king as Duncan.
The king was an important character in the beginning of the story, but sadly, he was murdered. He was a good person and didn't deserve to die, but he did. Due to the murder of King Duncan, the power fell into the hands of a person with the lust for power. That is never a good person. The king deserved to live but tragically died.
