Kira Embroidery

The main character Kira was born with a deformed leg and is currently an orphan and she has to survive because in her Society the weak and injured / crippled are left in the fields to die. Her father who died awhile ago died on a hunt, and her mother died from a sickness. Curious mother was also an amazing gift for embroidery and she also taught Kira how to embroider cloth as well.

Kira needed some way to get back into the village because anyone who is sent out to the field is fore sure going to die. While Kira was in trial one of the members of the Council, Jamison, defended her. Jamison new Kira's dad, and he brought up the fact that Kira had an amazing talent for embroidery. The council then decided that they would keep Kira inside the village to mend and update the robe that shows all the history of the civilization. This robe was worn by the designated person called the Singer. The singer wears the robe and sings the history of a man, in order to remind the citizens of rise and fall that occurs due to imperfection. The singer would sing this song at an event called The
They then found a very girl named Jo whose ability was to sing and was an orphan just like Kira and Thomas. At this point Kira learned that her life is less then idyllic. Kira every night sneaks into Jo's locked room at night to comfort her in Kira, Thomas, and Jo then realize that they don't have as much freedom as they thought. After Annabelle dies in Kira is left to still work and the life that Joe lives drives Kira to find the truth about her society.

At the Gathering that was nowhere to be found. Kira also noticed that the singer had the staff and robe that Thomas and Kira worked on.
