To better understand the holocaust, it is important to apply the definition. The Holocaust describes the state sponsored slaughtered of six million Jewish men, women, and children along with the killing of others by the Nazis and the their allies during WWII. Called “the final solution” by the Nazis, the Holocaust traces its name from the Greek term meaning whole sacrifice. Because the German army were strict about the police helping any of the Jews or any other races. Also the Germans felt like the Jews were bringing the pain on themselves just because they didn't want to leave Germany because if they left they would leave their family and friend and also everything behind.
The reason we should care is because this is historic and full of information and It’s important to know what happened in history so you can always be one step ahead in knowledge.The reason I care is because It was impactful and this shows you what evil is capable of when a group of people or one person has power, and when people support to their evil power everybody falls under the evilness and that was the case with the holocaust Every body fell under Hitler’s power and he consumed their minds to do whatever he wanted the Germans to do from building concentration camps to killing 6 million people even to fighting in his war, and some Germans was a part of the evilness and target one group of people. and the way It ties into our present time today is that we need to be mindful of other cultural groups of people and make sure this doesn’t happen
