Lady Macbeth Evil Analysis
Malicious, manipulative, and immoral describes the character Lady Macbeth in Shakespeare’s The Tragedy of Macbeth. As a loving wife, she appears to support her husband's dream to become king, however, her wish to be filled with cruelty and her ruthless influence of her husband, shows her true evil nature. Lady Macbeth is a vile catalyst in all the evil actions throughout the play, due to her heartless cruelty and control over Macbeth.
Lady Macbeth is an evil character because she wants her body filled with evil, so she can kill the King and then often uses dishonor and emotional corruption to manipulate her husband, Macbeth to execute her wills. From the beginning of the play, Shakespeare portrays Lady Macbeth as a wicked individual, especially through her satanic prayer to the spirits of evil and darkness, to execute the murder of King Duncan. “Come, you spirits that serve the thoughts of mortals: rid me of the natural tenderness of my sex and fill me from head to toe with direst cruelty!” (Act I, Scene v, Lines 39-42) Lady Macbeth is …show more content…

Sleeping and dead people are like pictures of themselves. Only children fear a picture, even of the devil.
