Critical analysis is the process that every physician uses in order to diagnose a patient. For instance, one day I was not feeling good, I was throwing up and coughing a lot. My father stated that just take some cough medicine you probably have the common cold, however, I felt that cough medicine would not help my condition. That morning I went to the doctor's office and Dr. Petweg checked my vitals, my blood pressure, and my breathing. I explained to the physician that I have a feeling awful and it did not feel like a common cold. Analyzing what I explained to the doctor and correlating it to my symptoms, my doctor then clarified that was developing a serious case of pneumonia. Where there was inflammation in my lungs, and it can be fatal. Luckily for me, my case was in its early stages and the doctors were able to treat it. From the doctors critical analysis he was able to connect my story to my symptoms and diagnose me and save my life. And when I become a physician, I will use this critical analysis to observe my patients and find the core issues to their symptoms. By taking English 1302 and learning more about critical analysis will become a skill that I will use for the rest of my life.
