Totalitarianism describes a political system in which the state holds total authority over the society and seeks to control all aspects of public and private life, wherever possible. With this type of government, there is always a main leader in whom is the driving force of the issue - the one who is in charge of this “perfect society” and runs it as he or she pleases.
