1. The theater was a single location in a small town in west Texas
2. The owner hired his nephew to manage the theater
3. Only two ticket booths (one in the front and one in the back)
4. General admission (no assigned seats)
5. Tickets were color coded, date and time stamped for specific movie
6. Tickets has cereal numbers to determine the number of tickets sold (in order)

8. Normally cash came up short
9. Most of the workers are young (high school/college age) and seem to be (friends) with the customers.
10. Customers entered the screening room by passing through a turnstile manned by an attendant whom collected tickets.
11. Turnstile and ticket stub counts usually did not match
12. Manager (nephew) seems to be giving away too many free passes

I. Where is the theaters control system lacking?
1. The cashiers – they collect less money than what the register documents in ticket sales.
2. Refreshment attendants - sales are lost due to attendants not collecting money for refreshments.
3. Collection of tickets - tickets for the wrong day or wrong movie are found in the stub box. Also the turnstile count is higher than the ticket stub count.
4. Nephew Manager – seems the owners Nephew is taking advantage of his uncle and happens to be handing out free movie passes.
II. Are the control systems weak or incomplete? If so, which part of the system is weak or incomplete?
1. The system is not incomplete, for the most part, although I do feel the system is weak. Missing cash, free passes and friendly free admissions and refreshments should not be happening in any business.
2. The employee part of the system is weak. The employees at this establishment have no regard to their unethical behaviors with their jobs. They have no consequences for their actions and do not care (and probably do not know) that they are driving
