Lieutenant Charriez: A Case Study
First Lieutenant Charriez showed dedication and responsibility by stepping out of her job as a Platoon Leader and into one of the most important roles in the Company, the Food Service Officer. During her first Annual Training (AT) exercise as the Food Service Officer she excelled with successful supervision of the food service operation. Her guidance and leadership contributed greatly to the overall unit success in feeding over 455 personnel consisting of over 9,600 meals prepared and over 5,000 MREs dispensed.

1LT Charriez's vigorous work ethic contributed to a successful food service operation consisting of 17 cooks out of seven companies, two Mobile Kitchen Trailers, one Field Sanitation Center, and three contracted refrigerators. Due
