I am writing to inform you on my concerns over your article “Why I Hate Facebook” and your approach which really disturbed me. First of all I would like to address you on your comments, particularly the comment where you branded Facebook users “Sad Characters” who also found the reality of this world somehow “Unappealing”.
Many people would disagree in saying you don’t have real friends if you use facebook OR any other social network site. The meaning of a friend; A person you know well and take a liking to and believe is loyal to you. I am not sure about you porter but am very sure I can decide if anyone one on Facebook matches that criteria.
• “Take a liking to “By Adding/Accepting someone as a friend on Facebook shows a liking to one another.
• “A person you know well “By Accepting you start a friendship which in normality, would lead to one another messaging/chatting which can lead to getting to know one another.
• “believe is loyal to you “As you begin to get to know one of each other you may begin to confide in each other
Some may even join for pleasure and a sense of stardom; there are many who simply join these sites just to speak or try and contact a celebrity is it bad or should I say “sad” to want more for yourself or to try and achieve a long life dream of maybe meeting your role model. I am also very proud to say I have real friends, with their little weird ways, strange craves, marvellous gossip, hip ways and ridicules sayings. Every now and then when there are small arguments that at the time occur as make or break argument, we realise maybe it has gone too far, but there is always the problem of who will be the bigger person and confront one another which is pretty hard for me and am sure many others who friends have very big stubborn personalities... so what’s the easiest way to confront each other without any layering of hands or over speaking? ...
