He goes off by saying males should be more companionate and gentle. I totally agree with the author that cherishing our lives for the sake of our wholeness is would promote more peace rather than resorting to violence.
He goes off by saying males should be more companionate and gentle. Becoming more open-minded, caring, communicative, understanding and expressing emotion, using words instead of resulting in violence are one of the few many examples given. My take on this is yes, those are powerful teachings that could help ameliorate our traditional masculinity for the better good.
Copper Thompson’s section on “Boys being Boys” suggests to the readers that what if that traditional barrier was broken, how things would go about. I agree that boys that express their feelings and thoughts out tend to not resolve into violence.
